Active bomb was discovered at an elementary school in Kasese District, Uganda, Africa. Party school teachers often use these bombs to call the disciples. Suddenly a bomb was startling discovery anti-mine activists.
As quoted from orange.co.uk, Thursday (07/07/2011), the teachers used to banging rock into the bomb to call the 700 pupil school.
Network Coordinator Mine Ban Rwenzori Bwambale Wilson said a number of teachers using the bomb in front of him to call the student. "It is surprise for us knowing that the school bell was used as a bomb," he said.
"His head is still active, which means that if hit by a force more powerful, it will explode instantly and cause incalculable damage in the area," he added. Fortunately the bomb did not explode bell.
This bomb is the second time bomb found at a school in Uganda within six months. Teachers in different schools to find students using a bomb as a toy.
Uganda itself been battered due to large-scale civil war 20 years ago, with battles between 1996 and 2002. Many bombs are believed to be still scattered across the region.
